Brand Overview
GreenFable offers heirloom and hybrid vegetable, herb, and flower seeds sourced from independent growers and cleaned in small batches. We focus on freshness, transparent labeling, and easy planting guidance so anyone can grow with confidence.
Value proposition
Better seeds made simple, fresh lots, clear instructions, and consistent germination.
Audience & personality
Home gardeners, balcony growers, and community garden coordinators. Personality: friendly, trustworthy, modern, and nature-forward.
Creative direction
Create a cohesive packaging system for foil-lined paper seed packets (primary), resealable stand-up refill pouches (bulk), and a counter display tray that reads instantly on rack and online. The look should be minimal and botanical, anchored by one unmistakable visual device that scales across varieties while keeping the master brand prominent.

Brand constraints (must-haves)
- Brand name “GreenFable Seeds.”
- Front: variety/common name, botanical name, net contents (seed count or weight), quick planting icons (sun, depth, spacing, days to maturity).
- Back/side: sowing directions (indoor/outdoor), germination window, spacing & thinning, harvest notes, hardiness/USDA zones (where relevant), lot number, packed for season, sell by, germination %, purity % (as required), origin, barcode, company info, and recycling marks.
- Compliance: leave space for AOSA/state seed labeling or regional equivalents; include noxious weed disclaimer where required.
- Tamper evidence on refills; paper packets must be foil-lined for moisture protection.

Production notes (packets, pouches & display)
- Packets: FSC paper with matte AQ; internal foil liner for barrier. Minimum live text 5 pt; no strokes < 0.4 pt. Keep critical text ≥3 mm from folds/glue.
- Pouches: Recyclable mono-PE high barrier; matte or soft-touch optional. Reserve unobstructed area for lot/packed-for inkjet.
- Display tray: Sturdy paperboard with billboard front; ensure front lip height doesn’t hide variety names.
- Icons & grids: Use consistent, simple icons for sun, depth (in/cm), spacing (in/cm), and days; avoid photographic textures that can muddy at small sizes.
Do / don’t
- Do make variety identification instant with a single family accent color and clear type.
- Do test legibility under warm retail lighting and at thumbnail size.
- Don’t crowd the principal panel with excessive claims.
- Don’t rely on heavy gradients or busy botanical photos; favor crisp line art or flat motifs.
Success criteria
Recognizable family look on racks and clear SKU differentiation; compliant seed labeling with scannable barcodes; clean print across packets, pouches, and PDQ displays with no rework.
Tone of voice
Encouraging, clear, and practical, garden-smart without jargon; welcoming to first-time growers.
